The watercolor class was both relaxing and inspiring. Debbie was clear and encouraging, and the atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the process. It definitely sparked my interest to keep practising and develop my technique further.

Mixed media: painting and hand embroidery . Canvas, 30/40.By blending painting and embroidery, the work creates a bridge between the material and the emotional, between the artistic gesture and the intimate gesture of hand sewing.

Sitting in glorious sunshine at the pond in my brothers house. The colours were so vibrant with so many shapes and sizes. He liked the painting so much that I gave it to him as a gift in a gold frame.

This was an idea that started from a bunch of flowers picked out of our garden. With a bit of tweaking and some back up photos from my wonderful wife Mandy off I tried. This is entirely drawn from hand with no light box or tracing. Literally put a clean sheet of 300 g fine finish paper and a lot of work using Polychromos pencils.I hope do a collection of these month by month and have 4 others which have been asked to be included in an upcoming exhibition.

charming still life that captures the essence of a summer garden. The thick, textured layers of paint bring the vibrant red poppies and delicate white flowers to life, creating a sense of warmth and rustic beauty.&8203With its soft background and simple vase, the painting feels peaceful, honest, and full of light?like a fresh bouquet placed on a sunlit table.

The painting is called ?Brilliance? The sun was so bright it was virtually impossible to look at it. The painting was produced during lockdown. I sat for a good 40 minutes waiting to get what is the desired result. The oil painting will be exhibited at my exhibition from the 18th to 20th June at Clevedon sailing club.

As an artist every picture I paint is more than just a picture, it?s a memory. In this piece it is the memory of beautiful sunsets over the calderia, as we celebrated a family wedding. There is nothing quite like the Greek islands to inspire creativity, peace and beauty. The colours are bold, vibrant and warm, and just looking at this takes me immediately to my favourite place in the world.

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
